Job summary

Rise and Shine Academy, a program of Criterion Child Enrichment, provides quality child care services to children between six weeks and five years of age. Each classroom offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to promote learning, curiosity, and independence, in a safe and nurturing environment.

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and responsible teaching assistants for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in early childhood education preferred
• Bilingual/Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Participate in developmental enrichment groups with children birth to three years-old and their parents.
• Assist in the planning and development of curriculum/activities for group.
• Support children's learning in group through engagement in activities such as art/sensory, gross motor, and free play.
• Assist with group routines such as set-up/clean-up, snack preparation and toileting/diapering
