Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, oversee product preparation and presentation, and train staff for excellent customer service. The role supports grand openings and interfaces with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators.

The position offers a set Tue-Sat schedule with 8:30AM–5:30PM shifts, full-time benefits and opportunities for advancement within CDS’s Costco-focused events network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotions and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support the maintenance and development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust as necessary.
• Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management.
