Job summary

Desoto-Nursing- is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. The PTA will provide person-centered care to enhance mobility, strength, and quality of life for residents under PT supervision.

You will administer prescribed treatments, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans of care as needed. New grads welcome, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the PT and rehab team.
• Modify care plans under PT guidance based on patient response.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation per policies and regulations.
