Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian to serve Queens, Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Elmont, Ridgewood and surrounding areas. You will provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, partnering with mentors and practice managers to deliver compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care.

Available schedules range from 2–5 days per week, with a focus on balanced work‑life harmony.

• Veterinarian Salary Range - 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Queens, Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Elmont, Ridgewood, NY and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $135,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $150,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
