Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team in a full-time role in Pigeon Forge, TN. No healthcare experience required, but housekeeping, laundry, hotel or custodial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, laundry, hotel, hospitality, janitorial, custodial, environmental services, or healthcare is preferred.
• Commercial laundry experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, push and pull throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas.
• Perform resident room and discharge cleaning according to facility standards.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area.
• Restock housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete special cleaning projects as needed.
• Safely operate housekeeping and commercial laundry equipment.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
