Job summary

Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pigeon Forge, TN, is hiring Dining Services Aides for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities offer competitive pay, same-day pay, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, dietary, or healthcare experience is a plus—but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining rooms before each meal service.
• Serve meals to residents in a friendly, respectful, and timely manner.
• Assist with meal plating and portioning according to dietary guidelines.
• Deliver meal trays and beverages to residents as needed.
• Clear tables and assist with meal cleanup.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout dining and kitchen areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as assigned.
• Stock supplies and assist with kitchen organization.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Team and Nursing staff to provide exceptional resident service.

Position Overview

As a Dining Services Aide, you'll help create a positive dining experience by assisting with meal service, preparing dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations.
