Job summary

Covenant Living Communities & Services, Inc. in Spring Valley, CA seeks a full-time Housekeeper to perform cleaning and light maintenance across the campus, supporting residents and staff. You will follow infection control standards, manage cleaning schedules, and participate in linen and bed-making tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping or general maintenance experience, good English communication, and dependable work habits. Weekend availability may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Some high school education.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
• Dependability and common sense, and the ability to organize daily cleaning schedule to finish each day’s assignment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policy and procedures, with limited direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedule and infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, plunge toilets and change batteries as needed.
• Follow the established schedule to perform cleaning tasks inside and outside.
• Maintain floors via sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, and more per schedule.
• Move furniture as needed and assist in resident moves during transfers/discharges.
