Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across indoor/outdoor areas of the community. The role involves inspecting work, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

You will handle a range of tasks from sweeping, mopping, window cleaning to stock management, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Multilingual abilities desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
• Removes trash, assists in emergency cleaning, and uses new equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintains friendly, professional attitude and ensures sanitary supplies are stocked.
• Inspects areas daily and reports discrepancies; ensures all security and safety precautions are followed.
• Completes daily work orders and maintains equipment in good condition.
• Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers; reports deficiencies to supervisor.
