Come home to Aloha. We provide personalized skilled nursing, intermediate, long-term, respite, and hospice care in a warm, plantation-style atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, dust, and wax floors, carpets, windows, walls, woodwork, blinds, fixtures, and restroom facilities as needed.
- Move furniture, cabinets, boxes, crates, and large equipment to facilitate cleaning.
- Collect and remove trash in and around the facility.
- Mop up spills and wet areas; pick up litter in and around the facility.
- Clean stairways, elevators, entrances, and exits.
- Prepare resident room units for new occupancy, understanding universal precautions and cleaning of contaminated units.
- Uphold the values of Hale Ho Aloha, ensuring the mission and vision of the company are understood and consistently achieved.
Requirements
- Physical exam within the last year.
- Two-step TB test, followed by a one-step TB test within the last year.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with one to three months of related experience or training.
- Ability to speak, write, read, and follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and materials.
- Related experience in facility maintenance, laundry, and/or housekeeping preferred.
