DAY SHIFT 7:30am-3:30pm with ROTATING WEEKENDS

The Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 5-star, 460-bed facility providing services for short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, home care programs, a ventilator dependent care, palliative and hospice care, a new Memory Care Unit and on-site dialysis. The Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services also includes the 201-apartment Gurwin Jewish~ Fay J. Lindner Residences assisted living community, and Fountaingate Gardens, the independent living community.

Our Assisted Living Community is currently seeking a full time Housekeeper who will embody the passion and commitment required to continue our reputation of providing the gold standard of excellence in assisted living.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Duties include keeping assigned areas of our Assisted Living Residences in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly condition as directed by the Director of Housekeeping and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining resident apartments and common areas.
• Candidate must have general cleaning knowledge and prior experience.

Requirements include:

• Candidates with experience in a hospital, nursing home or assisted living strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the dementia population and dealing with related behaviors.
• Understands written and oral instruction.
• Understands and absorbs new work methods.
• Capable of completing schedules effectively and in a timely manner.
• Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
