Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join our Sterling Heights, MI area team. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes, prioritizing work-life balance and professional fulfillment.

Join a veterinarian-owned practice with ongoing mentorship and a supportive culture, offering flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules and a focus on meaningful family-centered care while practicing independently.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends and be mobile for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care to patients in clients' homes.
• Work independently as part of Lap of Love's mobile veterinary team.
• Contribute to compassionate, client-centered care and ongoing mentorship within a community of veterinarians.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Sterling Heights, MI area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver\'s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
