Lap of Love is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas. You will provide hospice and euthanasia care with compassion, balancing clinical excellence with a flexible schedule and personal well-being.

As a mobile practice, you’ll join a community of veterinarians and support teams who value work‑life balance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development while practicing independently in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• U.S. driver's license valid for states served.
• Eligible to work weekends in Sterling Heights, MI area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with help.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets.
• Deliver compassionate medical care in patients' homes and support families.
• Participate in ongoing mentorship and adhere to Lap of Love protocols.

Salary information and schedule options are available for Sterling Heights, MI. Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Sterling Heights, MI area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
