Job summary

Home2 Suites by Hilton Kittery is seeking highly motivated and friendly Housekeepers to join our team. In this role you will perform a variety of cleaning activities in accordance with Colwen and brand standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, stocking supplies, responding to guest requests, ensuring privacy, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Prior experience is preferred, with a rotational 7-day schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way

Responsibilities

• Receive list of assigned rooms from manager and prioritize rooms
• Clean, stock and maintain assigned guest rooms according to standards
• Respond promptly to guest requests and other departments
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and restock supplies
• Ensure privacy of guests at all times
• Knock and announce self before entering rooms and return if occupied
• Restock amenities and supplies in rooms
• Make beds and stock bath linens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms/kitchens
• Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms
• Ensure appliances are clean and in working order
• Straighten desk area and furniture
• Dust and polish furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and floors
• Notify maintenance of needed repairs
• Final walk-around to ensure room meets standards
