This position involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in hotel guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, replenishing supplies, reporting issues, and interacting with guests occasionally. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous housekeeping experience preferred, and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. and perform various physical tasks is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean hotel rooms and bathrooms thoroughly according to department procedures.
• Sort, count, fold, and carry linens for guest beds.
• Stock housekeeping carts with supplies.
• Replenish supplies in rooms and bathrooms as per procedures.
• Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, sills, and door panels.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area.
• Report problems immediately to supervisors or guest relations.
• Turn in lost and found items for logging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Interact with guests occasionally during cleaning.
• Promote excellent customer relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Physical Demands
