Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Location: Hotel Arista

Department: Housekeeping

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Compensation Range: $18.00-20.00/hour, commensurate with experience and education.

Age Requirements: Must be 18+

Additional Requirements: Must have open availability weekdays and weekends.

Role Summary:

Ensure the spa and fitness center clean and maintains the luxurious atmosphere for all guests.

Daily Assignments:

May include but not limited to the following: cleaning all areas of the spa/fitness center, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming. Maintaining sauna, steam room, and salon as well as treatment rooms. Emptying trash and replacing liners, toilet paper, Kleenex, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning all areas of the spa and fitness center
  • Handling different chemicals for specific areas
  • Maintains janitorial closet within the spa
  • Reports any deficiencies to engineering
  • Ensures all cleaning supplies are put away prior to spa opening
  • Takes inventory of special chemicals needed to maintain facility
  • Assist with spa laundry

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills


Experience

  • Must have janitorial, laundry or housekeeping experience
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred

  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Able to work alone as well as being a team player
  • Good communication skills when interacting with guests and other employees
  • Ability works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to pick-up shifts on short notice
  • Must be honest and dependable and help maintain a positive work environment
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while meeting high performance standards
  • Must possess good time management skills and able to work under pressure
  • Must be organized


Physical Requirements

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and the ability to push/pull large weight objects more than 150 pounds
  • Standing for extended periods of time up to 8 hours.
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain facility
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling
