Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician with experience in filling medication orders and labeling.
• Includes preparation of oral and injectable medications and sterile compounding.

Responsibilities

• Filling: label, count, stock medications; initial and date as required.
• Prepare oral and injectable medications including IV admixtures and TPN.
• Maintain sterile product area and aseptic technique for cytotoxic drugs.
• Distribute medications and assist with controlled substances per policy and state/federal laws.
• Provide information to hospital staff, patients, and visitors; maintain documentation.
