Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Hospital Housekeepers at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves cleaning patient areas and facilities to hospital standards, with shifts from 7:00AM–3:30PM or 12:00PM–8:30PM, and weekend/holiday availability required.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and may need post-offer medical screening and drug testing. Flu vaccination is required unless exemptions apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial industry preferred.
• Medical environment cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
