Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Hospital Housekeepers at Valleywise Behavioral Health Maryvale in Phoenix, AZ. You will work as an Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper on client premises, cleaning rooms, hallways and restrooms, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures.

Shift options include mid-shift 12PM–8:30PM and 3:00PM–11:30PM; weekend and holiday availability is required. Previous janitorial experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required; post-offer medical

Qualifications

Experience in the janitorial industry is preferred.
Medical environment cleaning a plus.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
Annual Influenza (flu) immunization is a condition of employment unless exemptions granted.

Responsibilities

Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
