Hospice of Florida is seeking a Full Time Hospice Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, supervise, and retain volunteers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead community outreach to promote volunteer opportunities and strengthen ties with our patients and families.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional evenings/weekends. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of volunteer coordination in healthcare.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience as a Volunteer Coordinator in healthcare preferred.
• Must be compassionate, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, train, interview, screen, assign and coordinate patient volunteers.
• Establish needs for volunteer services with patient, family/caregiver, and hospice team.
• Arrange volunteers to provide services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Supervise volunteers and evaluate performance annually.
• Develop and oversee an active volunteer network for direct/indirect patient care.
• Monitor volunteer time logs and patient documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
