Job summary

Your Health in Georgia and surrounding areas is seeking a Hospice Medical Coder to join our billing team. The role focuses on accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding for hospice and primary care services in a multi-site setting.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems (Athena preferred), and HIPAA compliance. This is a full-time, 8-hour on-site position with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proficient CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding for primary care and hospice services.
• Certification in medical coding preferred (CPC, RHIT, etc.).
• Experience with billing software and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for procedures and services.
• Ensure documentation supports code assignments and billing.
• Maintain updated knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 changes.
• Adhere to CMS, HIPAA, and OIG regulations.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure accurate coding and billing.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
