Job summary

Medical Services of America, Inc. seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide home health services in Pensacola, FL. This full-time role focuses on one-on-one patient care, restoring function and promoting independence in the home setting.

You must be a Florida-licensed OT with at least 1 year of clinical OT experience; home health experience is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration with the care team are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical OT experience (home health experience strongly preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and required auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to restore daily function and independence.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on alternative strategies for daily activities, safe transfers, and proper positioning.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document patient progress and submit records within 24 hours of each visit.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and home health best practices.
