Job summary

The Humane Society of Charlotte is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to support high quality/high volume spay/neuter services and provide compassionate care to shelter animals.

You will work with RVTs and staff in the Clinic Services Department, performing pre-, peri-, and post-operative care, with a target of 25–30 surgeries per day once trained, and may assist with wellness visits as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong commitment to community animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian in good standing
• Strong surgical skills with focus on high quality/high volume spay-neuter
• Compassionate and collaborative team player

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, peri-, and post-operative surgical care for dogs and cats
• Perform 25–30 spay/neuter surgeries per day once trained
• Support wellness and preventive care services as needed in the clinic
