Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries, VA has an immediate opening for a full-time, 12-month Athletic Trainer. The AT will prevent, assess, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries, requiring a current Virginia license and strong communication with students, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Athletic Training license is required.
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred and citizenship/residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries and illnesses.
• Communicate effectively and with empathy to students, parents and staff; work in crisis situations.
