The Maintenance Assistant is essential in ensuring our facility remains safe and welcoming for residents and staff. Responsibilities include performing repairs, completing maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of general maintenance experience required.
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily physical rounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairs.
• Review maintenance request logs and complete work orders.
• Collaborate with staff for facility improvements.
• Assist with furniture moves and general maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and policies.
