Job summary

Fountain Inn Post Acute is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff at our Fountain Inn, South Carolina facility. This full-time role supports resident well-being and overall facility cleanliness.

You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow safety and infection-control procedures, and work both independently and as part of a team to uphold our high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience, especially in healthcare or long‑term care, is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean walls, windows, mirrors, handrails, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies in an organized manner.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain facility cleanliness standards.
