Hemet Hills Post Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare flavorful, nutritious meals in large quantities, follow menus and portion controls, and assist with special diets to meet residents’ needs.

In this role you will ensure a clean, safe kitchen, record temperatures, support meal service, and collaborate with nursing staff to boost resident satisfaction. Healthcare kitchen experience is preferred; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or skilled nursing kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and dependable work ethic.
• Prioritize cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flavorful, nutritious meals in large quantities while meeting residents’ dietary needs.
• Follow menus, recipes, and portion controls accurately.
• Prepare special diets and pureed meals with care and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Record food temperatures, maintain sanitizer solutions, and follow cleaning schedules.
• Assist with meal service and ensure meals are presented attractively.
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support resident satisfaction.
• Assist with training new dietary staff and support team operations as needed.
