Job summary

Hemet Hills Post Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking a dependable full-time Dietary Aide to join our food services team. With 178 beds, we support both short- and long-term residents and emphasize quality care and resident satisfaction.

You will assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and service, ensure diet orders are followed, and maintain sanitation across kitchen and dining areas while working in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred (healthcare or skilled nursing a plus).
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
• Reliable and resident-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service to residents.
• Ensure trays meet diet orders and portion guidelines.
• Deliver meals in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware according to safety standards.
• Assist cooks and dietary staff as needed to support daily operations.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
