Job summary

Dallas Retirement Village is seeking a dedicated Health Center laundry aide for full-time shift in its health center. The role involves sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and personal items, while maintaining clean work areas and following infection control procedures.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively in English, work well in a team, and can handle physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving carts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to follow instructions in English and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, push/pull carts and other physical movements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties: sorting, washing, drying, folding and delivering linens and items.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and chemical safety protocols.
• Follow safety regulations and job schedules set by Supervisor and Director.
• Complete daily checklists and documentation as assigned.
• Provide excellent hospitality and support to residents and staff.
