Job summary

Renaissance Care Center – Gainesville, TX is seeking a Laundry Aide to support facility laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and delivering linens and patient clothing.

You will follow sanitation standards, operate laundry equipment, sort items, and help maintain clean, organized laundry areas. Experience in healthcare laundry is preferred; English literacy required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or long-term care laundry preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Reliable and able to follow sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Load machines to correct weight and cycle; use detergents safely.
• Sort by color, fabric, and type; pre-soak as needed.
• Transfer laundered items to dryers in sanitized containers.
• Fold and stack dried items; iron when required.
• Distribute items to patients' closets; clean laundry areas.
• Maintain sanitation, proper storage, and safety standards.
