Qualifications

• Minimum CDA in Preschool is required.
• Associate's degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Head Start regulations and SUTQ requirements.
• Must submit required medical and TB test results.
• Maintain First Aid, communicable diseases, and child abuse training.
• Commitment to nurturing youth and healthy living.
• Ability to relate well with diverse communities and families.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in Head Start classroom management.
• Provide nurturing interactions and implement curriculum.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start and ODJFS guidelines.
• Promote family engagement and school readiness goals.
• Maintain classroom routines and documentation accuracy.
• Support in planning developmentally appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with teaching team to meet child needs.
