Essential Functions:

Note: Minors in this role may not be responsible for some activities listed below.

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers
• Proactively interact with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers at registers
• Ensure accurate transactions while moving throughout the checkout area
• Thank customers and invite them back

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
• Respond promptly to questions and provide product information
• Train and coach associates
• Process sales transactions using a cash register
• Support front-end team with supervision and support
• Handle merchandise and security tags
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open additional registers as needed

In-stock:

• Prepare register area at shifts' start and end
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Manage customer orders and verify receipts
• Review online orders and returns
• Price match and record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash and security measures
• Detect shoplifting and security risks
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate store equipment as required

General:

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs analysis, and supervisory roles
• Experience in shoplifting detection
