Essential Functions:

• Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers.
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers at multiple registers.
• Ensure accurate transactions while moving throughout the checkout area.
• Thank customers and invite them back to shop at Lowe’s.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers with locating and selecting merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions.
• Train and develop associates in departmental duties.
• Operate cash registers for sales, returns, and refunds.
• Support front-end team with supervision and coaching.
• Handle merchandise processing, security tags, and bagging.
• Answer calls and manage register coverage.

In-stock:

• Prepare registers and stock supplies at shift start/end.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages.
• Process customer orders and verify receipts.
• Manage online orders and merchandise returns.
• Verify prices and record store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash and security devices.
• Assist with security and theft prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate store equipment as needed.

General:

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of computer experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment.
• Experience as a head cashier and in retail departments.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in shoplifting detection.
