Customer Service

1. Provides exceptional customer service by following Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
3. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through store areas and projects when necessary.
4. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
5. Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
6. Cross-trains in other store areas to enhance customer service delivery.
7. Handles calls appropriately to meet customer and associate needs.
8. Reviews schedules to ensure proper store coverage and assigns backups as needed.
9. Collaborates with the PRO team to maintain service standards for Pro Fulfillment.
10. Picks, stages, and verifies delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders.
11. Follows up with leadership on order quality issues.
12. Monitors notifications to uphold customer service expectations during order processing and customer arrivals.
13. In-Stock Operations:
14. Uses Lowe’s systems to manage inventory and orders.
15. Conducts inventory walks and monitors fulfillment areas.
16. Communicates status updates to Department Supervisor via various methods.
17. Acts as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments to ensure timely order processing.
18. Prepares and inspects merchandise for loading, verifying accuracy against invoices and orders.
19. Performs supplemental fulfillment tasks as needed.
20. Store Cleanliness and Safety:
21. Completes administrative tasks related to delivery and pickup, including auditing and customer contact.
22. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
23. Organizes merchandise, maintains cleanliness, and removes debris.
24. Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
25. Maintains store safety and cleanliness standards, conducting safety reviews and hazard identifications.
26. Operates store equipment as required, obtaining necessary certifications for forklifts and other machinery.
27. Performs other duties as assigned.
