Customer Service
- Provides excellent customer service by following Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
- Responds promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
- Expresses genuine appreciation to customers.
- Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, benefits, applications, and warranties.
- Trains cross-functionally in other store areas to enhance customer service.
- Handles calls appropriately to meet customer and associate needs.
- Reviews schedules to ensure proper coverage and assigns backups as needed.
- Collaborates with the PRO team to meet service expectations for Pro Fulfillment.
- Picks, stages, and verifies delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders.
- Follows up with leadership when quality standards are not met.
- Monitors notifications to maintain service standards during customer visits and order submissions.
- In-Stock Operations
- Uses Lowe’s systems to manage inventory and orders.
- Monitors fulfillment areas and communicates status to supervisors.
- Acts as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments to ensure timely order processing.
- Prepares and inspects merchandise for delivery and pickup orders.
- Performs supplemental fulfillment tasks as needed.
- Store Cleanliness and Safety
- Completes administrative tasks related to delivery and pickup, including audits and customer contact.
- Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
- Maintains store organization and cleanliness, including merchandising and debris removal.
- Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
- Follows safety standards and operates store equipment safely.
- Obtains necessary certifications for operating forklifts and other equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
