Job summary

Allied Universal in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Driver Patrol) to deter incidents and provide exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers a flexible schedule with pay rate of $18.96 per hour.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, complete logs, and respond to security concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months security-related experience or more.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns calmly and reporting per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
