Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a motivated team member for a Full Time Forklift Driver at Averill Warehouse, 501 S. Averill, Flint MI 48506. The role pays $16.00 per hour, with a 20% in-store discount.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with comprehensive benefits for full-time associates. Essential duties include operating forklift or pallet jack, moving product, loading/unloading trucks, keeping areas clean and safe, and ensuring proper product staging.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Ability to stand six to eight hours a day.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to move 900 pound carts using mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or electric pallet jack.
• Move containers of product.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers.
• Ensure product is staged in proper location.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner and conduct periodic inspections.
• Assist in organizing the warehouses.
• Adhere to policies and maintain good attendance.
