Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a Full Time Forklift Driver at Averill Warehouse in Flint, MI. You will operate a forklift and pallet jack, load/unload trucks, and ensure products are staged and stored correctly.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and teamwork. Benefits include holidays, vacation, insurance, a 20% employee discount, direct deposit, and more. Workweek is 6 am–2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Ability to stand six to eight hours a day.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or electric pallet jack.
• Move containers of product.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers.
• Ensure product is staged in proper location.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Assist in the organization of the warehouses.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining a good attendance record.

individuals to fill a Full Time Forklift Driver at our

Averill Warehouse store located at 501 S. Averill, Flint MI 48506

$16.00 an hour plus 20% discount on in-store purchases.

Monday - Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Operate forklift and/or electric pallet jack.
  
  1. Move containers of product
  2. Load and unload trucks/trailers
• Ensure product is staged in proper location.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner and ensure all equipment is in good working order – doing periodic inspections.
• Assist in the organization of the warehouses.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining a good attendance record.
