Job summary

Maple Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Kingston, PA is seeking a full-time Food Service Aide to support daily nutrition services. You will assist the Director of Food Service in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining sanitary, safe kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food procedures are followed.
• Prepares food using proper food handling and safety techniques.
• Maintains proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in food service department.
• Assist in serving meals, beverages, and special items on a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Label, dates, and stores food properly.
• Maintain a clean sanitary work area.
• Perform dishwashing service and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
