Job summary

Extended Care is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. You will serve nutritious, palatable meals, assist in meal service, and ensure portions meet guidelines in a warm, respectful environment.

This full-time role requires weekend availability, the ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and strong customer service. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team focused on compassionate, individualized care.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.
