Maple Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Food Service Aide to support our nutrition service in a 92-bed long-term care setting located at 615 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, PA. This full-time role includes every other weekend and holiday shifts, with responsibilities spanning food prep, service, and sanitation.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, basic English communication skills, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability in food service preparation and cleanup.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food procedures are followed.
• Prepares food using proper food handling and safety techniques.
• Maintains proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in food service department.
• Assist in serving meals, beverages, and special items on a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Label, dates, and stores food properly.
• Maintain a clean sanitary work area.
• Perform dishwashing service and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
• Other duties as assigned
