ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, has an opening for a Floor Technician in Shepherdsville, KY. The role includes floor maintenance, operation of floor care equipment, and restorative work across multiple floor surfaces.

The position offers a full-time schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with no prior experience necessary as training is provided. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing and extractions.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
