Job summary

Villa Georgetown Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Georgetown, Ohio is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Floor Tech to keep floors clean, safe, and attractive for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

You will perform floor care duties, operate cleaning equipment, and collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to uphold the highest standards throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial floor care preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning products is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move equipment throughout the facility.
• Positive attitude and commitment to serving older adults with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing.
• Clean and maintain carpeted areas with commercial equipment.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely.
• Assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping projects as needed.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Help maintain a clean, attractive, and hazard-free environment throughout the facility.
• Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
