Job summary

Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Versailles, OH, seeks a dependable Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors throughout the facility and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will strip, wax, buff, and polish hard surfaces, operate buffers and scrubbers, follow infection-control procedures, and assist the housekeeping team as needed. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous floor-care, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor-care equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to safely lift, bend, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Willingness to follow safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
• A respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and restore hard-surface flooring and carpeting throughout the facility.
• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and polish floors.
• Operate floor-care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
• Perform routine carpet cleaning and spot treatment.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain floor-care equipment and report repair needs promptly.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed.
• Help ensure resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other spaces remain clean and presentable.

Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
