Job summary

Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Floor Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff at Versailles, Ohio. The role involves floor care across the facility, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors, and operating buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet extractors.

Qualifications

• Previous floor-care, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor-care equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and restore hard-surface flooring and carpeting throughout the facility.
• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and polish floors.
• Operate floor-care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
• Perform routine carpet cleaning and spot treatment.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain floor-care equipment and report repair needs promptly.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed.
• Help ensure resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other spaces remain clean and presentable.

Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, maintain, and restore hard-surface flooring and carpeting throughout the facility
