The Goddard School located in Vinings, GA is seeking a dedicated Floating Teacher to join our team. As a Floating Teacher (substitute/support), when a Lead or Assistant Teacher is out, you will assist with implementing and engaging educational programs and activities inside and outside the classroom. This is an entry level postion with growth potential. Must be available from Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm.

We are looking for full time teachers only. No Nights or Weekends!!! Nurture your growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.

Responsibilities

• Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
• Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience.
• Organize engaging classroom materials.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate transparently with parents about children's progress and achievements.
• Maintain clean and inviting classrooms adhering to health and safety standards.
• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
