The Goddard School in Austell, GA is seeking a motivated Assistant Toddler Teacher/Floater to support the Lead Teacher, create engaging activities, and maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in handling children.

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans through Wonder of Learning
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children
• Assist in communicating with parents about their child’s progress and activities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities
