Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents who will reside in on-campus homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students.

The role involves daily routines, medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting; couples rotate nine days on, three off, then move to placed home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one approved dog.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (no proselytizing).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.

• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
