Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person married couple role; both spouses 27+.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driverfers license; able to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes; follow 9-on/3-off schedule.
• Transition to Placed Houseparent living with the same group.
