Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and care for 8–13 students. Couples must be married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27+. The role includes supervision, scheduling, wellness, and devotional duties.

Initial duties cover multiple homes with a nine-on/three-off cycle. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, relocation support, and paid time off. Housing and meals are provided while on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to supervise and mentor students in a home setting.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
