Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents work a nine days on / three days off schedule, with a transition to a Placed Houseparent role. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, housing, meals while on duty, and retirement options, plus relocation assistance and

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-person couple role for married partners.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.

Mansioni

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially supporting various homes, then transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.
• On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school.
